This year I am growing flowers and vegetables both in my back yard and at my local co-op. At both locations, I have watched at least four watering cans go to the grave, as they weren’t made for wear and tear. A good watering can should be able to hold several gallons of water, sprinkling when needed. Sounds pretty basic, so why do so many fail? This summer, my cute French watering can by Gardener’s Supply is still growing strong. At the co-op, they invested in a Practican by Haws that allows you to vary the water flow. I hope this one lasts, since most of the cans I have tried that vary water flow are the first ones to break! If you have a watering can you cannot live without, please let me know!
