Caring for Tropical Hibiscus

Tropical hibiscus is a flowering shrub used widely as an indoor plant. The incredibly large blooms come in a wide variety of colors, including white, pink, yellow and purple, that brighten rooms and complement decor. Although each bloom only lasts a few days, these plants will bloom throughout most of the year.

Growing these plants indoors takes a little extra care, but the work can be well worth it. This houseplant can last decades and grow to six feet tall or higher if well cared for. A few things should be kept in mind for best results.
